Thanks to Ruben and all his team for the wonderful time.
\nNot only i learned how to kite surf in margarita but i met lots of awesome people wether locals or foreigners from all globe corners which really added so much to my experience.
\nThe whole team at village or at the lagoon are always at your service with a genuine smile ,friendly and professional at the same time.
\nWether newbie or advanced level i highly recommend you Margarita kite school it has it all and you\u2019ll never go wrong.

I booked for 4 nights, ended up staying for 3 weeks! Margarita Village and kite centre became my home away from home. The cabins are comfortable and very spacy, with a huge outdoor bathroom, a comfy bed, fan to cool you down, and a chill porch and hammock.<\/p>\n

The staff goes that extra mile to make all your wishes come true..a fresh coconut, extra towel or just a nice chat, no worries!<\/p>\n

The breakfast and especially the dinner are just the best! The local chef knows how to prepare his country’s great food, but also cooks up the best tuna and Spanish dishes. Probably influenced by the Spanish owners \ud83d\ude09 Every day is a treat with a perfectly balanced combination of veggies and meat.<\/p>\n

The kite centre is very professional. The vibe is relaxed and the centre uses good quality kite surf gear, and very skilled instructors which speak different languages for your convenience. Not only do they know how to get you starting this amazing sport, they help you to progress and you will have a lot of fun in the mean time!<\/p>\n

The 3 weeks I spend in this place the owners, instructors and staff together with the other wonderful guests became like a family to me. From the chilled vibe, the fun game nights, the nerdy kite talk to the amazing food and very warmhearted people, I loved every minute I spent there and am already planning my next stay!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Best Kite school in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka!<\/a><\/div>\n

We were only meant to stay for 3 days but ended up extending until it became 2 weeks. Such is the magic of Margarita Village Kite School. We met so many wonderfulnew friends and experienced professional service. Our rooms were always kept clean, our chef gave the best food, the owners were very accommodating of our requests and gave us tips on places to go for day trips, kiting teachers Mireia and Mario were amazing, and the whole place felt like home away from home. There were beautiful animals that we got to pat and interact with, hammock for relax time, card games, badminton area, and I got to learn to kite. I never thought I’d be able to do it as I only recently recovered from a major physical health challenge, but through gentle patience, great wisdom and joyful style of teaching from Mireia, I got to achieve my dream. My partner Shane and I loved every part of our stay and we hope to return again.. to our wonderful Margarita Village Kite School family. I came to Kalpitiya on a short sola trip to learn how to Kitesurf. I did the 9hour course that they offer which was spread over three days. I was a little anxious at starting but there was really no need to be. The team of instructors were all so friendly, chilled and professional, I knew I was in safe hands! My instructor was called Mirella and she was amazing! So patient and knowledgeable. She will teach you everything you need to know from the beginning and make it fun!<\/q><\/p>\n

During my time at Kalpitiya I stayed at margarita lagoon which was a treat.
\nThe cabanas were clean and equipped with a mosquito net and a fan. The outdoor shower is really cool and I especially liked the hammock which is outside each cabana. Also each cabana has outdoor seating deck chairs as well as a clothes line for hanging your wetsuits, towels etc.
\nThe breakfast each morning was delicious with fresh fruit and a smoothie always included.
\nIf you are into Yoga, the team will organize a yoga instructor onsite.
\nEvery evening dinner is prepared around 7 with a variety of foods and local dishes, even a BBQ.
\nOverall it\u2019s such a great place, very friendly and relaxed atmosphere with good people around. I would 100% recommend. I was sad to leave after the 3days but will be back again!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We spent three nights in Margarita Village and we really enjoyed it. The cabanas are super cozy and you always can enjoy a fresh breeze during the night, so sleeping is just awesome. The cabanas offer a nice natural shower and bathroom.<\/q><\/p>\n

The FOOD is just amazing. Every night we were offered delicious local food like rice and curry or kottu. Sometimes we also had sri lankan pasta or a wonderful big fish and seafood barbecue with lots of great grilled vegetables.<\/p>\n

The area around the kiteschool and Margarita Villag is still very rural, which is what we really loved!! We had the opportunity to get in touch with a lot of the local people, who were so friendly and interested in us. Ruben and his friendily and welcoming stuff took care of all our needs. They arragend a scooter and bike rental and a transfer to the airport. Furthermore they arranged a day trip to Wilpattu Nationalparc and a boattrip to go dolphin watching.<\/p>\n

The kiteschool was just wonderful. We already knew how to kite and just needed some supervision in the beginning. The school offers a lot of kites in different sizes, bsides you get bars, harnesses and booties. For those who prefer more safety the school also provides swimmingwests and helmets. The instructor are ver friendly, funny and warmhearted people. We had a great time and really recommend this place!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We started our holiday end of july
\nWe enjoyed iT so much such a nice place. Lovly owner Ruben. Great staff, verry helpfull and friendly
\nGreat sweet animals on the location: the CAT\u2019s Margerita and Tarzan and goose Eduardo
\nThe rooms were nice loved the outdoor shower and toilet. Hooked up with lots of people after kiting and ended up having dinner with a Nice group of people at Margerita Village or Margerita lagoon. Superb to start if you never kite before. Or when experienced there are excellent places like little islands were you are totaly by yourself and go to by boat. Loved the dreamspot. If youre not a good kiter jet no problem they can do a boat resque and you can start again.
\nIf there is no wind you can take a boat trip to wilpattu national park and swim in the river
\nOr rent Some kajaks on the beach
\nWe decided to also finish our holidays there because we enjoyed iT so much.
\nEvery day transport to the kitesurf lagoona and back
\nYou can also take a tuk tuk for about 500-600 roepies is around 3,-
\nWe met so many Nice people there that we decided to come back in december or januari this jear
\nRoom has everything needed no airco but sleeping with the fan is perfect
\nSri Lankan breakfast yummie
\nBBQ tuna fantastic
\nKitesurf crew sooooo Nice
